Ms Sarah Barnes
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Since qualifying as a teacher in the UK, I have held various leadership positions in schools and was Head of the Music and Arts Service for Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council where I further developed my drive for community cohesion as a core part of developing young people’s learning experiences and self-efficacy.
It is a real privilege to work as Deputy Head at David Nieper Academy, an academy so committed to providing a rich academic and holistic education. This alongside truly life enriching experiences in a caring environment, preparing all individuals to succeed in both their lives and future careers.
