Welcome to The Sixth Form

Welcome from the Head of Sixth Form

At David Nieper Academy Sixth Form we want you to experience a learning environment that encourages and develops independent thought, self-discipline, motivation and confidence. The qualifications on offer will equip you with all the skills that you need to successfully pursue a career in the real world and above all will prepare you for the next stage in your life.

Making the transition from GCSE is difficult for both students and parents. We fully support students with their choices through their tutor groups and by scheduling individual careers appointments and to give advice and guidance as to suitable A level and BTEC choices.

Our Sixth Form specialises in the right balance between classroom learning and employer based experience which is sought after by employers. Our Sixth Form is unique in the fact that the students attend their work experience every Thursday for the duration of their courses and we have small class sizes in order to further support students to obtain excellent results.

We invite you to explore our Sixth Form page to have a greater understanding of what we have to offer. Our Sixth Form is dynamic and I am extremely proud of what we have to offer.

Please download our prospectus which will provide you with an overview of the courses offered in David Nieper Sixth Form. Our application form can also be downloaded and sent to sixthform@davidnieper.academy.

As well as our own students, we welcome and encourage applications from students who have attended other schools or colleges.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Sixth Form team if you require any additional information.

We look forward to welcoming you to David Nieper Sixth Form.
